Biking Bogotá
Bogotá has more street art per square meter than almost any other city in the world. What better way to explore this amazing city than by bike! We booked a graffiti bike tour with Bogotá Bike Tours which turned out to be a 6hr bike tour (nearly 9 miles)! The street artists drew their inspiration from corruption, political scandals, or simply daily life in Colombia.
During our city bike tour of Bogotá we stopped off at a fruit market to sample some local fruits. The ideal geographic position that Colombia occupies due to its proximity to the equator and with the Andes stretching across the country, creates the perfect conditions for fruits to develop unique flavors. We tried around 10-12 fruits and most were delicious…and some were very interesting! Even our picky eaters tried some but Daddy liked them all! See my post on foods we tried in Bogotá.
